Great kids books can really make the difference. They say that developmentally it probably dooesn't matter which book you're reading to your kids as long as you're reading something.
But, man, it matters to your development when you're the one reading "Thomas and the Magic Railroad: Little Engines CAN do Big Things" for the 100th time. Or some rambling nonsense with 2 columns of 8 point font describing endless plot twists and characters you can't bring yourself to care about.
So, this group is about finding and reading books that are smart and entertaining for both the reader and your audience. They exist! I've found a few; join the group and let us know of any better ones.
